Dominant Cup Series wins since 2021: Larson, Truex top the charts

Since the start of the 2021 season, eight NASCAR Cup Series races have entered the history books as dominant victories, with race winners leading more than two-thirds of the laps. Two drivers -- Kyle Larson and Martin Truex Jr. -- have netted the most, and Larson added the most recent of those last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Nashville, 2021

Laps-led percentage: 88%
Noteworthy: Larson led the final 78 laps in scoring his third consecutive win, following earlier victories at Charlotte and Sonoma. It also marked the Cup Series' first event on the 1.33-mile Nashville Superspeedway.

Darlington-1, 2021

Winner: Martin Truex Jr.
Laps led: 248 of 293
Laps-led percentage: 85%
Noteworthy: Truex led all but one of the final 144 laps, handing him his third win in the first 12 Cup Series races of 2021.

New Hampshire, 2023

Winner: Martin Truex Jr.
Laps led: 254 of 301
Laps-led percentage: 84%
Noteworthy: Truex swept the stages at Loudon, and his performance holds as Truex's most recent Cup Series victory, his 15th with Joe Gibbs Racing and 34th overall.

Charlotte-1, 2021

Winner: Kyle Larson
Laps led: 327 of 400
Laps-led percentage: 82%
Noteworthy: Larson won all four stages in NASCAR's longest race, breaking a streak of three consecutive runner-up finishes.

Texas, 2021

Winner: Kyle Larson
Laps led: 256 of 334
Laps-led percentage: 77%
Noteworthy: Larson clinched a berth in the Championship 4 field with his Lone Star State victory, going on to win his first Cup Series title three weeks later in Phoenix. It was an unofficial season sweep as Larson won the non-points All-Star Race at Texas that year.

Homestead-Miami, 2022

Noteworthy: Larson posted his first win at the South Florida 1.5-mile track, leading the last 22 laps.

Watkins Glen, 2023

Winner: William Byron
Laps led: 66 of 90
Laps-led percentage: 73%
Noteworthy: Byron led all but two of the final 67 laps to grab his first road-course win and the ninth of his Cup Series career overall.

Las Vegas-1, 2024

Winner: Kyle Larson
Laps led: 181 of 267
Laps-led percentage: 68%
Noteworthy: Larson held off Tyler Reddick by 0.441 seconds, handing Hendrick Motorsports its second win in the first three races of the 2024 campaign.
