Joe Gibbs Racing driver and likely future NASCAR Hall of Famer Martin Truex Jr. announced his retirement from full-time racing earlier this season. A 34-time NASCAR Cup Series winner, the 2017 champion has been held winless since last summer's resounding victory at New Hampshire Motor Speedway -- a span of 51 races.
Only five previous drivers have been victorious in their final full-time seasons, all of them each a Hall of Famer, champion or both.
With one final race remaining in his full-time career, will MTJ join this prestigious list Sunday at Phoenix Raceway (3 p.m. ET, NBC, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Peacock)?
