NASCAR’s Grand Slam — who’s done it, and who’s close?

Like professional golf, NASCAR has a Grand Slam of historic races on the schedule -- the Daytona 500, Coca-Cola 600, Brickyard 400 and Southern 500.

Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin has won seven Grand Slam races -- often referred to as crown jewels. A win on Sunday at Darlington Raceway (6 p.m. ET, USA Network, HBO Max, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, NBC Sports App) would earn Hamlin his eighth Grand Slam win and his fourth Southern 500 triumph.
