NASCAR's return to Kansas Speedway this weekend also marks the first time the circuit has competed on a 1.5-mile track (non-superspeedway) since Charlotte and the Coca-Cola 600.
With the midpoint of the Round of 12, Kansas marks one of the most pivotal events in the Cup Series Playoffs.
