Goodyear will bring a proven tire setup for Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series regular-season finale at Daytona International Speedway (7:30 p.m. ET, NBC, HBO Max, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
Cup Series teams will utilize the same tire setup from February’s Daytona 500 and April’s spring race at Talladega Superspeedway. The left-side tire compound has been used at the “World Center of Racing” since the 2022 season, while the right-side tire compound debuted in last year’s Daytona 500.

Additionally, Goodyear will introduce a new right-side tire for NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series teams. The new tire features an updated construction but no compound change, which will pair with the left-side tire that previously ran at Daytona and Talladega earlier this year.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series regular-season finale is Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET (The CW, ESPN Unlimited, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
“Our Goodyear Racing Eagle superspeedway package is well established, so teams have a strong baseline heading into this weekend’s race,” said Justin Fantozzi, Goodyear’s Director of Racing for the Americas. “The new right-side 15-inch tire is a continuous improvement of the package and follows similar changes we’ve made at other tracks.”
Tire allotment for each team competing this weekend:
Cup Series: 7 total sets — 6 new for the race, 1 for qualifying, which transfers to the race.
O’Reilly Auto Parts Series: 4 total sets — 3 new for the race, 1 for qualifying, which transfers to the race.
