Rear-tire changer Orane Ossowski and jackman Allen Holman have been suspended for the next two events, running through Darlington Raceway on Sept. 6, after the detachment of William Byron’s left-rear wheel on Lap 233 in Sunday’s USA Today 301, causing a caution and violating Sections 8.8.10.4.A&D in the NASCAR Rule Book.

Byron finished the race in 30th but clinched a Chase berth.

The Cup Series next races at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday in what will be the 2026 regular-season finale (7:30 p.m. ET, NBC, HBO Max, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
