Honeycutt led the final 15 laps, passing Christian Eckes on a late restart to earn his fifth victory of the season and win the championship fairly uncontested. He entered Homestead with a 20-point lead over Layne Riggs, shaping up for a heavyweight title match to decide the championship. But Riggs cut a right-rear tire on Lap 15 and never recovered, eventually suffering a second failure in Stage 2 and falling several laps off the pace.

Eckes finished second, followed by Daniel Hemric, Ty Majeski and Stewart Friesen to round out the top five. Corey Heim, Chandler Smith, Jake Garcia, Grant Enfinger and Corey LaJoie completed the top 10.

Polesitter and Miami native Nick Sanchez had his engine expire at Lap 105, resulting in a 35th-place finish.

On the ensuing restart, Landen Lewis, Tyler Akrum, Tanner Gray and others were involved in a Turn 3 crash after a four-wide stackup went wrong.
