FOX to air 2015 season preview on Sunday

The hour-long show will air at 4:30 p.m. ET to 78 percent of the country. Those fans slated to see the National Footbal League game between New York Giants at the St. Louis Rams will get “NASCAR 2015: A New Era” at 3 p.m. ET.

The special, hosted by Danielle Trotta, will focus on the Daytona 500 on February 22, including “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Terry Crews explaining the magnitude of the season-opening race. Then, the show will take a look at the new second race of the season at Atlanta and a West Coast swing among the 2015 schedule changes. Team and driver swaps as well as NBC coming on board as a new television partner will be examined.

As they did during the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup on FOX Sports 1’s “NASCAR RaceHub,” analysts Larry McReynolds, Michael Waltrip, Jeff Hammond, pit reporter Matt Yocum and host Adam Alexander will make predictions in special installment of the NASCAR War Room.

Four drivers will be featured in signature interviews and features:
*Kevin Harvick will talk about his 2014 championship season and defending his title in 2015.
*Dale Earnhardt Jr. sits down with Darrell Waltrip to discuss defending his Daytona 500 title, his new crew chief and title expectations in the new year.
*Six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, with Chris Myers, will look forward to the Las Vegas-Phoenix-Auto Club swing in his quest for a seventh title after a disappointing 2014.
*Carl Edwards and NFL on FOX insider Jay Glazer will preview his new team at Joe Gibbs Racing and discuss the importance of racing and winning at Atlanta.

You’ll also hear from Aric Almirola, AJ Allmendinger, Greg Biffle, Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano and Ryan Newman.
