Austin Cindric made the jump to the NASCAR Cup Series in 2022, piloting the No. 2 Team Penske Ford. In his first regular-season outing with the organization, he won the Daytona 500, doubling as his first premier series victory. Cindric is the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion. He earned five wins in the 2021 season, giving him 13 career Xfinity wins, and also made the Championship 4. He earned a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win in 2017 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and is the youngest winner in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Series.
