Bio
Daniel Suárez is in his 10th season in the NASCAR Cup Series and first with Spire Motorsports as driver of the No. 7 Chevrolet. Suárez previously drove full-time for Trackhouse Racing, piloting the No. 99 Chevrolet from 2021-25. Suárez became the first Mexican-born driver to win a Cup Series race by winning at Sonoma Raceway in 2022, his 195th start. His latest Cup win came in the Coca-Cola 600 in May 2026, marking his first career crown-jewel win. He won the 2025 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, scoring a victory in front of his home-country fans. During his time as an O'Reilly regular, Suárez won the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award in 2015 and followed that by winning the series championship in 2016.
