Bio
Erik Jones drives full-time in the iconic No. 43 for Legacy Motor Club. He won the 2022 Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway for the team's first victory when the organization was known as Petty GMS Motorsports. To kick off his 2020 season, Jones won The Clash at Daytona International Speedway. Jones also won the 2019 Southern 500. Driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, Jones scored his first Cup win when he narrowly prevailed over Martin Truex Jr. at Daytona in July 2018. Jones earned successive Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in all three NASCAR national divisions -- 2017 in the Cup Series, 2016 in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and 2015 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
