Layne Riggs returns for his second season as driver of the No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Son of former Cup Series driver Scott Riggs, Layne narrowly missed the playoffs in his first full-time campaign, but scored his first two victories at The Milwaukee Mile in August and Bristol Motor Speedway in September. Riggs started a handful of races for teams Halmar Friesen, Tricon Garage, Young's Motorsports and Spire Motorsports before going full-time, posting a best finish of third at Indianapolis Raceway Park in 2023. Riggs also started in three Xfinity races in 2023 for Kaulig Racing at Texas Motor Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. An accomplished late model driver, Riggs captured the Advanced Auto Parts Weekly Series National Championship in 2022.
