Bio
Sam Mayer pilots the No. 1 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports full-time. He found Victory Lane for the first time in the Xfinity Series at Road America in July 2023 and earned his second and third career wins in the following months at Watkins Glen International and the Charlotte Motor Speedway road course. His fourth and most recent came at Homestead-Miami Speedway in October. He scored his first career NASCAR victory in 2020, winning the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway. He was just 17 years old at the time -- NASCAR's second-youngest winner.
