Bio
Sam Mayer enters 2025 as pilot of the No. 41 Ford for Haas Factory Team after a three-year full-time stint with JR Motorsports. Mayer is a seven-time winner in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, with all triumphs coming under the JR Motorsports moniker. He found Victory Lane for the first time in the Xfinity Series at Road America in July 2023 and earned his second and third career wins in the following months at Watkins Glen International and the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. He then followed those up with his fourth career win at Homestead-Miami Speedway in October 2023. One of his most memorable wins came in 2024 at Texas Motor Speedway as the second closet finish in Xfinity Series history, beating Ryan Sieg by just 0.002 seconds at the line. He scored his first career NASCAR victory in 2020, winning the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway. He was just 17 years old at the time.
