His most recent victory came in 2025 at Michigan International Speedway, besting Grant Enfinger in NASCAR Overtime to snap a 72-race winless streak. Friesen advanced to the Championship 4 for the first and only time in his career in 2019, with a career high in wins, top fives and top 10s. Friesen's team, which he owns, also competes in dirt modified racing across the country.
