After finding early success racing Quarter Midget and Legend cars, William Sawalich made the successful transition to NASCAR's national series in 2023, eventually joining the full-time Xfinity Series ranks in 2025 with Joe Gibbs Racing. He earned 14 victories across multiple series before joining Joe Gibbs Racing in 2023. He went on to claim the 2023 ARCA Menards Series East championship while scoring wins in all three ARCA platform divisions.
