In six career starts at Michigan, Chase Elliott has never finished outside the top 10 -- tying Buddy Baker and Cale Yarborough at the top of the list of most starts there prior to a finish worse than 10th. Another run of 10th or better on Sunday will break the record. Elliott also holds the all-time best average finish at Michigan at 5.33.

Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski have finished 1-2 on 11 occasions, the most among active drivers. Kevin Harvick has finished second to Busch 10 times, followed by Jimmie Johnson in seven races. Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. have all finished second to the No. 18 driver six times apiece.

Chip Ganassi Racing currently holds four victories at Michigan, the most out of any track on the circuit for the organization. Kyle Larson owns three of those wins while Sterling Marlin reached Victory Lane in the No. 40 CGR entry in August 2001.

Michigan is home to Jimmie Johnson's fourth-worst career average finish – a 16.8 in 33 starts – behind Watkins Glen (17.1), Talladega (17.2) and Daytona (18.3). Johnson does have one victory at the 2-mile track, though, dating back to June 2014.

Only nine drivers in the Sunday's field have victories at Michigan, including Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, Clint Bowyer and Kevin Harvick. Kurt Busch and Larson hold the most with three each.

Austin Dillon holds four top-10 finishes at Michigan, the second-most behind Daytona for the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing driver. Dillon earned a fourth-place finish at Michigan last August.

Kyle Busch and crew chief Adam Stevens have earned 26 wins in 142 starts as a pairing, making for a winning percentage of 18.31%. Next in line among driver-crew chiefs with more than 100 starts together is Martin Truex Jr. and crew chief Cole Pearn, with 20 wins in 157 starts and a winning percentage of 12.74%.
