Coming off of wins at Martinsville Speedway and  Darlington Raceway the past two weeks, Denny Hamlin has a chance to become the latest driver to win three consecutive races heading into Sunday's race at Bristol Motor Speedway (3 p.m. ET, FS1, PRN Radio, Sirius XM NASCAR Radio) -- where he enters as the defending race winner.

In NASCAR's modern era (1972 until now), there have been 29 instances of a driver winning at least three races in a row. Of those instances, the driver who accomplished the streak has won the series championship 12 times. Take a look at every three-peat.
