NBC Sports debuts new ‘Peacock Pit Box’ remote studio

On Monday, NBC Sports announced the installment of a new on-location studio set, called the 'Peacock Pit Box.'

The box will be set up on pit road regularly at each speedway and is designed to bring fans closer to the action.

The set will feature two levels; host Krista Voda and analysts Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett will occupy the top level, while the bottom level will provide space for supplementary broadcast coverage.

Screens on the lower level will offer another element of coverage with interactive displays.

Mimicking a traditional pit box gives the set an authentic feel.

The pit box measures at 14 ft. by 12.5 ft.
