When the Cup Series returned to action after the hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Almirola raced the Smithfield "#GoodFoodChallenge" car for the two May events at Darlington Raceway. The paint scheme helped promote donations to Feeding America on behalf of Smithfield.
