NAPA Auto Parts was the primary sponsor of Chase Elliott's No. 9 Chevrolet for 26 points-paying NASCAR Cup Series races in 2020. Four of Elliott's five wins this season came with the NAPA paint scheme.

Elliott and NAPA honored Jimmie Johnson with a special paint scheme for the Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. The design was a throwback to the scheme Johnson won his fourth of seven championships with in 2009.
