Hendrick drivers to boost Chase Elliott Foundation, children’s hospital with Atlanta shoes

For the fourth consecutive year, the Chase Elliott Foundation has teamed with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for the "Desi9n to Drive" initiative to raise funds for the hospital's summer camp program. Elliott and his Hendrick Motorsports teammates will wear special Alpinestars shoes designed by patients at the Atlanta hospital during this weekend's race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The shoes will be autographed and auctioned off between June 5-14, with proceeds to benefit the foundation, which has raised more than $100,000 in the first three years of the program. As a bonus, the Chase Elliott Foundation plans to match the auction funds with a donation to COVID-19 relief.

Chase Elliott will drive the No. 9 Chevrolet, wearing these primarily pink shoes designed by 8-year-old Brooke Winokur.

Alex Bowman will drive the No. 88 Chevrolet with these colorful shoes created by Justin Mingo, age 14.

William Byron will drive the No. 24 Chevrolet at Atlanta, wearing a starry design on his shoes courtesy of Julia Hope Sears, age 9.

Jimmie Johnson will drive the No. 48 Chevrolet sporting bright green and orange footwear designed by Evelyn Odell, the 5-year-old big sister of a patient at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
