Chase Elliott made his debut in the NASCAR K&N Series in 2011 with a fourth-place finish in the East Series race at South Carolina's Greenville-Pickens Speedway. He had three top fives and six top 10s in 12 starts and finished ninth in the standings. In 2011, he raced against fellow series regulars Bubba Wallace, Brett Moffitt, Matt DiBenedetto, Corey LaJoie and Ben Kennedy.

Chase Elliott finished third in the 2011 West Series finale behind race winner Ryan Blaney and runner-up Alex Bowman. Elliott was selected as part of the 2012 NASCAR Next class, which also included Daniel Suarez, Corey LaJoie, Blaney and Kyle Larson.
