2023: Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

In his first race reunited with former crew chief Mike Kelley, Stenhouse stole the show in the Cup Series' 75th anniversary opener. Starting from the lead position in double overtime, Stenhouse raced out in front of Joey Logano and held the lead to the white flag lap before the final caution flew and ended the race. Driving for a single-car organization in JTG Daugherty Racing, this win will undoubtedly go down as one of the biggest underdog stories in Daytona 500 history.
