Bristo Superlatives 1
Sure, there's nothing but bragging rights on the line in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series, but that doesn't mean we can't hand out some awards anyway. Here's who stood out in the Food City Showdown presented by M&M's.

Race winner: William Byron

It was William Byron scoring his first career eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series victory Sunday at the virtual Bristol Motor Speedway. Byron started from the pole and drove the only car running at the end of the race without a scratch on it.

Fastest lap: Kyle Busch

He may be new to sim racing, but Kyle Busch sure isn't new to going fast. He posted the fastest lap of the race, a 14.819-second trip around Bristol's high banks.

Well, more of the dodge of the race. Parker Kligerman diced his way through some carnage on Lap 79 -- somehow.

Best paint scheme: William Byron

How could you not love the black and blue flames on William Byron's car? We hope to see it on a real car -- and, if it helps to sell the deal, it's never lost a virtual race so far.

2020 Apr 5 Enascar Contingency Contingency Awards 9
Pinball award: Michael McDowell

It's hard to escape Bristol without incident, as evidenced by Michael McDowell's 44 iRacing incident points accumulated in 150 laps Sunday. Luckily for Front Row Motorsports, the crew won't have any bodywork to repair after this one.

Most improved: Tyler Reddick

Tyler Reddick started out as an iRacing rookie in his eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series debut last week at Texas. This week, he survived to post an eighth-place finish -- not too shabby for the two-time Xfinity Series champ.

Best in-race tweet: Jimmie Johnson

Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champ Jimmie Johnson triggered a crash after tangling with Kurt Busch midway through Sunday's race. Johnson blamed the crash on his virtual spotter in iRacing, who he promptly fired via tweet -- our favorite social moment of the day.
