Meet the women who bring you NASCAR Roots racing from behind the scenes

A group of talented women are part of the team that works behind the scenes to bring you NASCAR Roots racing. As we celebrate Women's History Month, meet those women here.

Arlene Bombalicki: Manager, Member and Employee Services, ARCA Menards Series ... Arlene oversees the licensing of all ARCA officials and race teams. She is involved in the approval of ARCA drivers and supports all departments of ARCA.

Cara Cooper: Freelance Writer ... Cara writes weekly stories about the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, telling stories of drivers across the country.

Cherie Putnam: NASCAR Pinty's Series Director ... Cherie is the first female leader and fourth in the position for the series. She oversees the championship series, day-to-day business operations and at-track activities for the NASCAR Pinty's Series.

Connie Young: Senior Coordinator ... Connie provides administrative support for both the NASCAR Touring Series and the Diversity and Inclusion Department. Some of her responsibilities include travel coordination and calendar management as well as expense and invoice processing.

Destini Orr: Senior Coordinator, Touring Series Racing Operations ... Destini provides valuable marketing support for the ARCA Menards Series East and West, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and NASCAR Pinty’s Series. She is responsible for planning and coordinating pre- and post-race logistics and autograph sessions with series directors and race tracks.

Emma House: Coordinator, Weekly Racing Operations ... Emma helps streamline daily communications between NASCAR and NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series sanctioned tracks while also organizing time-sensitive documents and items. In addition to working closely with internal departments at NASCAR, she also travels to NAAPWS tracks, providing on-track support for track owners/promoters as well as drivers, crew members and officials throughout the season.

Jacklyn Drake: Manager of Direct-to-Consumer Strategy ... Jacklyn primarily manages partnership streaming strategy within the NASCAR Roots division inclusive of American Flat Track (AFT) and IMSA. She also works closely on digital media strategies and track execution, and she joins broadcasts as an on-air reporter.

Jen Cote: Administrative Assistant, Weekly Racing Operations ... Jen has been with the company more than 20 years supporting the grassroots tracks that are the foundation of the sport. She assists NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series tracks daily to help streamline their relationship with the sanctioning body. Some responsibilities include processing invoices, credentials, sanction administration, tracking schedules, supplies and officials' uniforms.

Lauren Hill: Manager, Broadcasting ... Lauren manages the day-to-day relationship with FOX and handles all their at-track needs. She also oversees all contingency and programming discussions with FOX, NBC and MAVTV for all of their respective events. She supervises programming and production for ARCA Menards Series East/West and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events with NBC and NASCAR Productions.

Lauren Wescoat: Senior Director, Touring Series Racing Operations ... Lauren is responsible for series marketing, racing operations, sponsor and track relationships in our touring series -- NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, ARCA Menards Series East and West, and the NASCAR Pinty’s Series. She handles at-track management of pre-race, post-race, autograph sessions, sponsor activations and event experience.

Lia Veley: Manager, NASCAR Broadcasting ... Lia manages the day-to-day relationship with broadcast partners handling all of their needs for each race weekend. She oversees the relationship between the ARCA Menards Series and its broadcast partners, FOX and MAVTV.

Shannon McIntosh: Owner, Driving Roots ... Shannon handles the social media strategy and implementation for NASCAR Roots. She is a former race car driver with more than 20 years of experience including ARCA Menards Series, USAC Midgets and Road To Indy. Today, Shannon runs Driving Roots, her motorsports marketing company that was started in 2018.

Stephanie Azevedo: NASCAR Pinty's Series Coordinator ... Stephanie coordinates all of the races in Canada with series director Cherie Putnam. Stephanie works closely with all the owners and drivers of the series, making sure they are all set for all race events. At the track, she handles all registration and post-race.
