Several Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers have opportunities to hit milestone moments in their careers in 2019. From inching closer to the legends in several categories to tying Richard Petty in combined wins, see what feats drivers could accomplish this season.

Milestone: 650 Cup starts

Who could do it in 2019: Kurt Busch (648), Kevin Harvick (646)

Historical impact: Busch and Harvick have the most starts among active drivers -- and will be 18 races away from Hall of Famer Dale Jarrett's mark after they hit 650 starts.

Milestone: 625 Cup starts

Who could do it in 2019: Ryan Newman (620), Jimmie Johnson (615)

Historical impact: Only 25 drivers in NASCAR history have made at least 625 Cup starts -- and that includes drivers such as Hall of Famers Jeff Gordon, Bill Elliott and Darrell Waltrip. Johnson would also pass Tony Stewart (618 starts).

Milestone: 500 Cup starts

Who could do it in 2019: Kyle Busch (498), Martin Truex Jr. (477), Clint Bowyer (469)

Historical impact: At 33 years old, Kyle Busch would be the youngest, currently active driver to reach the 500-start mark.

Milestone: 1,150 combined starts

Who could do it in 2019: Kevin Harvick (1,115)

Historical impact: Harvick would move up to third on the all-time list with 1,150 combined starts, passing Mark Martin (1,143).

Milestone: 1,000 combined starts

Who could do it in 2019: Kyle Busch (988)

Historical impact: Kyle Busch would climb to ninth on the all-time list with 12 combined starts in 2019. He and Kevin Harvick have made the most combined starts among active drivers.

Milestone: 625 consecutive starts

Who could do it in 2019: Jimmie Johnson (612), Ryan Newman (612), Kevin Harvick (604)

Historical impact: Only seven Monster Energy Series drivers have made 625 or more consecutive starts -- and none are currently active drivers. Johnson and Newman would also tie Dale Earnhardt (648 consecutive starts) on the all-time list if they started every Monster Energy Series race in 2019.

Milestone: 500 consecutive starts

Who could do it in 2019: Clint Bowyer (468), Truex (468)

Historical impact: Bowyer and Truex are scheduled to hit the 500-straight-races mark at Kansas Speedway on Oct. 20 -- putting both of them just 13 spots away from Richard Petty, who made 513 consecutive starts from Nov. 14, 1971 to March 19, 1989.

Who could do it in 2019: Kevin Harvick (45)

Historical impact: Harvick would tie Junior Johnson and Ned Jarrett with 50 Cup wins -- and pass his team owner Tony Stewart (49 Cup wins).

Milestone: 30 Cup wins

Who could do it in 2019: Brad Keselowski (27)

Historical impact: Only 26 drivers -- and five active drivers -- in NASCAR history have reached the 30-plus win milestone. Keselowski would tie Kurt Busch if he reaches 30 victories.

Milestone: 25 Cup wins

Who could do it in 2019: Joey Logano (21), Martin Truex Jr. (19)

Historical impact: In NASCAR history, 33 drivers have won 25 or more times in the premier series. Logano and Truex would pass Ricky Rudd and Terry Labonte -- and tie Joe Weatherly and Jim Paschal -- at the 25-win mark.

Historical impact: With six wins in 2019 -- in any series -- Busch would tie 200-time winner Richard Petty with the most combined victories in NASCAR history.

Historical impact: With eight victories across all three series in 2019, Keselowski would pass Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards, eyeing 83-time winner Cale Yarborough as his next goal.
