The NASCAR Regional platform features the ARCA Menards Series, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, and the drivers who compete in those series are, in many cases, the future of NASCAR's national series.
As selected by the NASCAR Regional editorial team, here are the top 10 NASCAR Regional drivers from ARCA, Mods and the Weekly Series as of April 1.

9. Doug Barnes Jr.
After battling for the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series national championship last year, Doug Barnes Jr. has kept a low profile for the early part of 2024. That changed Saturday, when he won the Dickie Boswell Memorial at Dominion Raceway for the second straight season.

8. Trevor Catalano
Three drivers have finished in the top five in each of the first two NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour races. They are Justin Bonsignore, Ron Silk and rookie Trevor Catalano. The youngest of the three Catalano brothers currently racing with the series, Trevor finished fifth at New Smyrna Speedway and followed that up with a third-place effort at Richmond Raceway. Those were also his first two series starts. Not bad for a rookie.

7. Bubba Pollard
Short-track racers across the United States were well represented in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Richmond Raceway. Bubba Pollard, making his Xfinity Series debut for JR Motorsports, was fastest in practice and overcame a poor qualifying effort to finish sixth. If there was any doubt as to Pollard’s skill level, it was put to rest Saturday.

6. Kaden Honeycutt
Racing against an all-star cast that included NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Jeb Burton and his father, the returning Ward Burton, Kaden Honeycutt won the Orange Krush 200 at Orange County Speedway last week. It’s good momentum for Honeycutt, who is racing part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this year for Niece Motorsports.

5. Gio Ruggiero
William Sawalich may have found himself a challenger for the ARCA Menards Series East championship this year. Gio Ruggiero dominated the second half of the Pensacola 150 at Five Flags Speedway to earn his first ARCA platform victory in just his third start.

4. Ron Silk
After opening the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season with a win at New Smyrna Speedway, Ron Silk came agonizingly close to becoming just the third driver in series history to win the first two races of the season last Friday at Richmond Raceway. He instead settled for second as the series heads to Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park for the IceBreaker 150 this Sunday.

3. Justin Bonsignore
Three-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion continues to inch closer to history. His win last Friday at Richmond Raceway was the 41st of his career, moving him to within one victory of Ted Christopher for third all-time in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. He’s only three wins away from tying Reggie Ruggiero for second all-time.

2. William Sawalich
William Sawalich fell from the top of the NASCAR Regional power rankings for one simple reason: He lost. Sawalich started his ARCA Menards Series East campaign with a runner-up result at Five Flags Speedway. It was the first ARCA platform race Sawalich hadn’t won since last September.
