It's a long-standing superstition in motorsports that having the color green on your race car is bad luck. We are here to tell you not only is that crap, but we have irrefutable photo evidence that the color green is actually good luck on a race car. Furthermore, this is only from the 2020 season alone. As we celebrate St. Patrick's Day, let it be declared the color green shall be shunned no more. Want to find Victory Lane? Slap that green paint on the car. Take a look.

Haley not only avoided trouble at Talladega but also won the race. Why? The green.

The elation one feels from finally winning at his or her home track can be attributed to hard work, persistence and that green "M" right there.

That small bit of green was the game changer. It's what made Denny Hamlin and Ross Chastain tangle ahead of Brandon Jones, allowing Jones to slip by for the win. It was the green. Green works in strange ways.

Kaulig Racing knows green is not bad luck but rather, just the opposite. It's why the color green is frequently on Haley's car. The team knows how the universe works.

I'm a little blue-green color-blind, but for the sake of this gallery, that's green, dammit.

Same here. Seafoam green. No one said it has to be spinach green. So long as the cyan and gray are merging to form this powerful color, its good fortune shall be yours.

The vibrant green of the corn husk was what propelled Harvick to victory at Atlanta, as well as his 87 other wins in 2020. All about momentum.

OH, LOOKIE HERE. Is this a road-course ace nabbing his first-ever win on an oval? I wonder why that could be. By now I've said enough. If you want to win, slap some green on your car. Case closed. Game, set match ... point ... end of game.
