2021 May Dennytweets Intro
If you haven’t noticed, Denny Hamlin is dominating both the points standings and Twitter. 2021 has seen the driver/team owner/wearer of PJ’s posting some absolutely fire tweets. So without further ado, let’s randomly power-rank them.

One thing we’ve always admired about Denny Hamlin is his transparency. He shares a lot with us, and makes sure that as a team owner, all salary negotiations are held out in the open.

The truck race at Darlington Raceway was quite the entertaining affair, assuming you weren’t driving or owning one of the trucks. And during the race, Denny tweeted this and proved he’s just like us.

From what we gather, all of the haulers safely made Bristol Motor Speedway’s treacherous infield entry, even with the track covered in dirt. That doesn’t mean Denny wasn’t looking for a healthy serving of schadenfreude.

We don’t have the bandwidth to explain the plot of this Dane Cook movie to you, but if you look it up, you’ll learn why this is a very good joke. Probably better than any joke in the actual movie, to be honest.

This is one of those tweets where you read Denny’s answer and think “Ah, makes sense,” but then you pause for a moment and then you’re like “WAIIIIIIIIT a second … oh Denny, you mischievous jokester, you.”

When you’re watching a race and you see a car go through the infield grass, sometimes all you need is two words that are absolutely dripping with sarcasm.

Denny Hamlin could maybe have moved Joey Logano during the closing laps at the Bristol Dirt Race to take the lead. However, he didn’t, and Logano won. Discretion is the better part of valor. But after the race, it was cool to see Denny post this. Forget valor. Valor sucks.

At Atlanta, a stack-up during a mid-race restart led to Denny Hamlin getting into the back of Kurt Busch, sending him into the turn 1 wall, ending Kurt’s day. Granted, it wasn’t Denny’s fault, which Kurt acknowledged. But when Kyle Busch was wondering why Denny had yet to arrive at the competition meeting, Denny cracked brilliantly wise.

The fun driver illustrations you’ve seen on the broadcasts led to this exchange with Landon Cassill. DOUBLE-CAKED DENNY COMING THROUGH.

After dominating at Richmond, Denny lost the lead on the final restart and finished second to Alex Bowman. Afterwards, this gem hit our timelines. Denny was frustrated, but he also knew that children might be reading. In conclusion, we applaud Denny and his newfound domination of Twitter. It-rhymes-with-duck yeah, Denny.
