As 2018 Brickyard 400 winner Brad Keselowski looks to defend his title, it's now or never for Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers on the playoff bubble. With that said, here's eight deep-dive stats to get you ready for Sunday's Brickyard 400 at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway (2 p.m. ET, NBC/NBC Sports App, IMS Radio Network, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) before the 16-driver Monster Energy Series Playoffs field is set.

Late-race passes for the win at Indy happen more often than you think. The race-winning move has come with two laps to go in three of the last four Brickyard 400s and with 10 laps to go or less in seven of the last 13.

Also, leading the most laps isn't exactly a guarantee for a win. The driver who's led a race-high number of circuits has only triumphed in one of the last six events – Kyle Busch in 2016.

Denny Hamlin is third on the all-time list for most career wins without a championship. The No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing driver has earned 35 race victories, behind Mark Martin with 40 and Junior Johnson with 50.

Speaking of Joe Gibbs Racing, it is the only organization to have every driver win a race this season, while also leading 33 percent of the total combined laps in 25 events. All four of JGR's drivers also hold positions one through four on the most top-five finishes list in 2019 – Hamlin (13), Kyle Busch (13), Martin Truex Jr. (10) and Erik Jones (nine, tied for fourth with Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano).

When it comes to drivers on the NASCAR Playoffs bubble with one race to go in the regular season, Ryan Newman has seen the most recent success. Newman has finished in the top 10 in the last two races at Indy. Clint Bowyer, eight points above the cutline, has only a pair of top-15 finishes in the last six races there. Daniel Suarez, tied for 16th with Newman on the cutline, finished 18th in last year's running at the Brickyard.

As for Jimmie Johnson, who sits 18 points back from the cutline, he's a four-time winner but has just one finish better than 14th in the last five races.

Kyle Larson has turned his season around at just the right time. The No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing driver has finished in the top 10 in eight of the last 10 races, which is the most out of all competitors. Larson also has five straight top-10 finishes, the longest active streak by a driver and tied for the longest of his career.

Pit road could wreak havoc for drivers Sunday. The pit road width of 24 feet is the narrowest among all tracks on the circuit, while its 15-foot wide pit boxes are tied for the second narrowest.
