Official Rules

 

RULE 1. ELIGIBILITY AND HOW TO VOTE NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

To vote, visit www.nascar.com/mostpopulardriver (the “Website”) and follow the online instructions for voting. Voting begins at 12:00:00 PM Eastern Time on October 28th, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on November 21st, 2024.

In order to be eligible for the 2024 National Motorsports Press Association Most Popular Driver Award Fan Vote:

• A driver must have declared NASCAR Cup Series™ points

• Driver must have been eligible for championship contention during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series™ racing season, per NASCAR.

• NMPA reserves the right to determine driver eligibility and matchups on a case-by-case basis.

To cast your vote for an eligible NASCAR Cup Series™ driver, go to the Website for that series, select the driver and then hit the ‘submit’ button. You may vote for one (1) eligible NASCAR®-sanctioned driver per ballot submission. Voting is limited to five (5) votes per person per unique email address per day (i.e., 12:00AM ET to 11:59:59PM ET) (each ballot submission, a “Vote”). Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means may be void. The use of multiple e-mail addresses, name variations, or other methods to create additional votes by a single individual during any one-day period is prohibited and may result in disqualification of the vote from the Vote in the sole discretion of the National Motorsports Press Association (“NMPA”).

 

RULE 2. PRIZES

No prizes will be awarded to voters.

 

RULE 3. VOTING RESULTS

Voting ends at 11:59:00 PM (ET) on November 21st, 2024. The name of the driver receiving the most votes will be posted on or about November 22nd, 2024.

 

RULE 4. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

All personally-identifiable information provided during the voting process will be treated in accordance with the NASCAR.COM privacy policy posted here: https://www.nascar.com/privacy-statement. By participating in this Vote, you agree to these rules, the NASCAR.COM privacy policy, and the decisions of NMPA, which shall be final and legally binding in all matters relating to this voting. NMPA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend part or all of this voting should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of NMPA corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the vote. Voting may also be temporarily suspended due to routine site, server or network maintenance. If cancelled or terminated early, NMPA will determine the winner by tallying the votes that NMPA, in its sole discretion, finds to be valid at the time of termination or cancellation. If suspended, NMPA will determine the winner by tallying the votes that NMPA, in its sole discretion, finds to be valid at the time of suspension and the votes accumulated when voting resumes. NMPA, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, LLC and NASCAR Digital Media, LLC are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by NMPA, participants, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which may damage a user’s system or limit a participant’s ability to participate in the promotion. NMPA may prohibit a participant from taking part in the vote or disqualify a participant’s vote if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said participant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Vote by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, or threaten any other participant or NMPA representatives. Void where prohibited and subject to federal, state and local laws. By participating in this Vote, you agree to these rules, NASCAR.COM’s privacy policy, and the decisions of NMPA, which decisions shall be final and legally binding in all respects. In addition, you agree to release, discharge and hold harmless NASCAR Digital Media, LLC, NASCAR, LLC, NMPA, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, limited liability and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees, members, agents and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from liability of any kind or nature for any loss, claims, damages, or injuries of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly form your participation in this Vote.

CAUTION — ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE WEBSITE OR VOTING MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, NMPA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH VOTER TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
