Championship contenders Ryan Blaney lines up second, Crafton sixth
RELATED: Full race lineup
Kyle Larson won the final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Keystone Light Pole Award of the 2014 season on Friday for tonight’s Ford EcoBoost 200 (8 p.m. ET, FOX Sports 1) at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
This is Larson’s first Truck Series pole at Homestead and his second of the season (the first coming at Pocono).
Lining up second to Larson will be Ryan Blaney. Blaney is currently 25 points behind leader Matt Crafton.
Ross Chastain, Tyler Reddick and Kyle Busch round out the top five.
Notable drivers that did not advance to the final 12-driver round in group qualifying were Timothy Peters and Johnny Sauter.
Crafton qualified sixth. He needs to finish 21st or better to clinch his second consecutive title; or 22nd with at least one lap led; or 23rd and the most laps led.
A red flag was thrown due to fluid on the track when there was 14 minutes and 20 seconds left in the first round.
