Sunday’s pre-race show at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was unusual, as the ceremonies ahead of the Sprint Cup Series Kobalt 400 were plagued by blustery winds and light rain. The unusual weather surprised many drivers and teams, who were somewhat “blown away” by the heavy winds.
