Alex Labbe finished 15th in the Henry 180 at Road America on Saturday.
Labbe’s result added 22 points to his season total. Labbe now ranks 20th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series standings with 248 points.
Labbe started in 21st position and led one lap in the race. The fifth-year driver has five top-10 finishes in his career.
Saturday’s race was the first of Labbe’s career at Road America.
The Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada native’s starting and finishing positions compared favorably to his career averages, starting four spots higher than his career mark of 25.4 and completing the race eight places ahead of his 22.5 career average finish.
Labbe’s 15th-place finish came against 37 other drivers. The race endured seven cautions and 15 caution laps. There were 13 lead changes.
Austin Cindric secured the win in the race, and AJ Allmendinger finished second. Chase Briscoe placed third, Kaz Grala took fourth, and Andy Lally finished off the top five.
After Justin Haley won Stage 1, Allmendinger drove the No. 16 car to the win in Stage 2.
