Layne Riggs defended his victory at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, outclassing the field once again to score his fifth win of the 2026 Craftsman Truck Series season.
After leading 160 laps at the Indiana short track in 2025, Riggs one-upped that performance by leading 198 circuits Friday evening. The No. 34 Front Row Motorsports driver extended his points lead to 99 over Kaden Honeycutt.

Connor Mosack put together a career performance, finishing runner-up at IRP. Ty Majeski, Chandler Smith, who clinched a Chase berth Friday, and Nick Sanchez completed the top five.
Stewart Friesen, Kaden Honeycutt, debutant Gavan Boschele, Tyler Ankrum and Mike Christopher Jr. completed the top 10.
In addition to Smith, Christian Eckes and Gio Ruggiero also clinched spots in The Chase.
The only caution for cause was a Lap 138 incident between Landen Lewis and Daniel Hemric that triggered a red flag lasting just under eight minutes.
Just two races remain until the seven-race Chase. Up next for the Trucks is a date at Richmond Raceway on Aug. 14 (7:30 p.m. ET, FS1, MRN Radio, NASCAR Racing Network).
