Carson Hocevar will lead the NASCAR Cup Series field to green for Sunday’s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (2 p.m. ET, TNT Sports, truTV, HBO Max, IMS Radio Network, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
The No. 77 Spire Motorsports driver netted his third career Busch Light Pole Award on a gloomy Saturday at the famed 2.5-mile track, putting down a 186.598 mph hot lap to top the leaderboard.

Hocevar’s Spire Motorsports teammate Daniel Suárez (186.382 mph) will start beside him on the front row. Tyler Reddick (186.077 mph), Ty Gibbs (185.966 mph) and points leader Denny Hamlin (185.835 mph) completed the top five.
Michael McDowell (185.762 mph), Corey Heim (185.456 mph), Alex Bowman (185.368 mph), AJ Allmendinger (185.345 mph) and Kyle Larson rounded out the top 10 for Sunday’s starting grid.
Defending Brickyard 400 winner Bubba Wallace (183.861 mph) will start in 29th, while NASCAR In-Season Challenge finalists Ryan Blaney (185.197 mph) and Todd Gilliland (182.460 mph) roll off 13th and 36th, respectively.
