Chase Briscoe's journey to NASCAR involved incredible perseverance, which eventually helped him make it to the premier level of stock-car racing and onto a new chapter at Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025. Here's a look at the Indiana native's most memorable photos and moments through the years.

2017: After winning the ARCA Menards Series title in 2016 with Cunningham Motorsports, Briscoe landed a full-time ride in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Brad Keselowski Racing in the No. 29 Ford.

2017: In the final race of his only full season in the Truck Series, Briscoe ended his rookie year with win No. 1 in the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Briscoe finished sixth in points with 10 top fives and 14 top 10s.

2018: With Brad Keselowski Racing shutting down its Truck Series program at the end of 2017, Briscoe moved up to the Xfinity Series on a part-time basis. He split time between Roush Fenway Racing (No. 60 Ford) and Stewart-Haas Racing (No. 98 Ford).

2018: In a one-off return to the Truck Series with ThorSport Racing, Briscoe bested teammate Grant Enfinger in a photo finish on the dirt at Eldora Speedway.

2018: Briscoe visited Victory Lane for the first time in the Xfinity Series after winning on the Charlotte Motor Speedway road course with Stewart-Haas Racing.

2019: Briscoe earned a full-time ride with Stewart-Haas Racing in the Xfinity Series. He scored one win in the No. 98 Ford at Iowa Speedway and finished fifth in points with 13 top fives and 26 top 10s.

2020: In one of the most emotional wins of his racing career, after wife Marissa suffered a miscarriage, Briscoe held off Kyle Busch to win in the Xfinity Series at Darlington Raceway.

2020: Briscoe, an Indiana native, achieved a special home win in the Xfinity Series at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

2020: In a breakout year, Briscoe won nine Xfinity Series races and ended with a Championship 4 appearance. The driver of the No. 98 Ford finished fourth in points.

2021: Following an impressive year in the Xfinity Series, Briscoe received the promotion of a lifetime to the Cup Series in a full-time ride. Briscoe replaced Clint Bowyer in the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford, driving the same number as childhood hero and team co-owner Tony Stewart. Briscoe ended the year with Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors.

2022: Briscoe scored his first career victory in the Cup Series at Phoenix Raceway, which helped him qualify for the playoffs in his second full season at the premier level. Briscoe ended the year ninth in points.

2024: On the brink of missing the playoffs, Briscoe wheeled a clutch drive in the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, fending off a hard-charging Kyle Busch -- also in search of a playoff spot -- to the checkered to earn a postseason bid in the regular-season finale.

2024: With Stewart-Haas Racing ceasing operations at the end of the year, Briscoe signed with Joe Gibbs Racing to replace Martin Truex Jr. in the No. 19 Toyota beginning in 2025. Before leaving, he locked up SHR's final Cup Series victory in the '24 regular-season finale, prevailing in the Southern 500 at Darlington and finshing the year 14th in driver rankings.

2025: In his 17th race behind the wheel of the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, Briscoe pulled off a fuel-saving masterclass at Pocono Raceway to keep the track's winningest driver and teammate Denny Hamlin at bay and earn his third career Cup Series victory -- first with his new team.

2025: Briscoe started the Cup Series Playoffs with a bang, dominating the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway en route to the Round of 16 win. The victory not only netted Briscoe an automatic Round of 12 berth but additionally gave the Indiana native back-to-back crown-jewel triumphs at the "Lady in Black."

2025: With the Round of 8 in full swing at Talladega, Briscoe's first Cup Series win on a superspeedway couldn't have come at a more perfect time. Briscoe took advantage of Kyle Larson running out of gas on the final lap to steal the win and clinch a spot in the Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway.

2025: Concluding his first year with Joe Gibbs Racing, Briscoe won three times at Pocono, Darlington and Talladega. He kicked off his deep run in the 2025 Cup Series Playoffs in style by going back-to-back in the Southern 500. Then, he made his first Championship 4 appearance after going to Victory Lane in the Talladega fall race. In the season finale at Phoenix, Briscoe battled tire issues all day long which left the No. 19 Toyota driver third in the final standings.
