The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series Chase kicks off Sunday in the Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway (5 p.m. ET, USA Network, HBO Max, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
The race will be the 27th points-paying event of the 2026 Cup Series season. Chase Briscoe is the defending winner of the crown-jewel race at the 1.366-mile South Carolina track.
For the next 10 weeks, 16 drivers will battle for the Cup Series championship, with Denny Hamlin entering the “Lady in Black” as the top seed in The Chase.
Two non-chartered entries are set to compete with Garage 66 driver Chad Finchum in the No. 66 Ford and 23XI Racing’s Corey Heim in the No. 67 Toyota.
Thirty-eight cars are entered into this weekend’s postseason opener.
