Gordon chose the pit stall closest to the pit road exit. He is one of several drivers with an opening in front of him. Kurt Busch (starting second), Brad Keselowski (starting fourth), Clint Bowyer (starting sixth) and Kyle Busch (starting seventh).

Jimmie Johnson chose the pit stall closest to the pit road entrance.

The Championship 4 of Kevin Harvick (stall 13, starting fifth), Joey Logano (stall 8, starting ninth), Denny Hamlin (stall 6, starting eighth) and Ryan Newman (stall 17, starting 21st) are relatively close together on pit road and three of four drivers will be starting in the top 10.

The Ford EcoBoost 400 is the season finale of the Sprint Cup Series and the highest finishing driver of the Championship 4 will take home the Sprint Cup championship. ESPN will have the television coverage of the 267-lap, which is set to get underway at 3 p.m. ET.
