The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Playoffs Round of 8 begins at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval, with the series’ inaugural race on the Queen City’s road course slated for Friday afternoon (3:30 p.m. ET, FS1, NASCAR Racing Network Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
The Charlotte Roval is the first of three Round of 8 contests, with Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway to follow in the coming weeks.
For the second time this season, Xfinity Series regular and road-course magician Connor Zilisch returns to the Truck Series, with the 19-year-old sensation driving the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet in a double-duty affair.
